SUPPLIER CODE OF ETHICS AND CONDUCT

Our achievements are the result of the commitment and ethical conduct of our employees, suppliers, and customers. This Code establishes the principles that must guide the commercial relationship with HANDSCHUHE. It aims to prevent unlawful practices and ensure strict compliance with current legislation.

2. Procurement Principles and Legislation
HANDSCHUHE hires suppliers whose management practices are strictly aligned with this code. Commercial partners must demonstrate full administrative compliance and technical capacity to meet the published specifications.

Zero Tolerance: We do not tolerate, offer, or accept bribes, kickbacks, or improper advantages, whether direct or indirect.

Our suppliers must guarantee a decent and safe working environment, committing to:

Child and Slave Labor: Ban labor analogous to slavery and the use of child labor. Strictly respect the legislation regarding the hiring of minors and apprentices.

Diversity and Respect: Curb any type of harassment (moral or sexual) and discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, or nationality.

Legal Rights: Maintain timely payment of salaries, labor charges, social security contributions, and tax obligations. Respect the right to free trade union association.
4. Environment and Sustainability
Environmental preservation is indispensable for sustainable development. Our suppliers must:

5. Commercial Conduct Guidelines

Market Practice: Gifts or courtesies can only be accepted if they have a modest commercial value. They must be compatible with market customs and cannot raise suspicions of improper favoritism.

Financial Transactions: Any payment or receipt of physical cash between employees and commercial partners is strictly prohibited.

6. Secrecy, Confidentiality, and Information Security

Asset Protection: Non-public information, project scopes, strategies, and financial data shared by HANDSCHUHE must be treated under strict confidentiality.

Validity of Secrecy: The duty of confidentiality extends indefinitely. It remains active even after the termination of contracts. Data must be processed in secure digital environments, respecting data protection laws (LGPD).
7. Term and Effectiveness
This Supplier Code of Ethics and Conduct is effective for an indefinite period. Its compliance is mandatory and continuous for all companies that comprise the HANDSCHUHE supply chain.
