Description and Properties of the PPE

Industrial PVC Glove with 100% hypoallergenic cotton textile support, external PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) coating in green color, and smooth palm with a courvin sleeve extension. Protection against mechanical risks. Known as a Cabinet Glove, it is recommended for blasting cabinets and mechanical protection against the impacts of abrasive blasting.


Reference: 1980 with a courvin sleeve extension.

Sizes: 9½”(L) and 10½”(XL).


Components and Accessories: There are no components or accessories for this glove.

It is recommended during the handling of individual parts in sandblasting machines and blasting cabinets.

Reusable

Subject to the glove's integrity and condition recommendations, as provided in the Technical Manual. In the event of punctures, tears, or any physical degradation of the material, the glove must be disposed of immediately, as its protective capacity is compromised.

Shelf Life

Up to 5 years (60 months) from the date of manufacture under the storage conditions recommended in the Manual.

Care and Cleaning

Hand wash with mild detergent and warm or cold water. Rinse thoroughly to remove any blasting abrasive residue. Dry cleaning, industrial washers, spinning, chlorine, or bleaches are prohibited. Line dry vertically in a well-ventilated, shaded area, with the faux leather (courvin) open to facilitate air circulation. Ensure that the seam between the faux leather and the PVC is completely dry.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Limitations of Use

Limited-use product. Read instructions before use.

  • Check for tears, punctures, or damage before donning. Replace the PPE immediately if any defects are found.
  • Not intended for surgical or hospital procedures.
  • Not intended for use in high temperatures or for protection against electrical shocks.
  • Not intended for chemical handling.
  • Not recommended for heavy-duty handling of slippery objects or items covered in excessive grease, due to the absence of an anti-slip finish on the palm.

Innocuousness and Allergies: This PPE was manufactured with innocuous materials that, under normal conditions of use, do not release substances known to be toxic, carcinogenic, or mutagenic, ensuring the user's health and hygiene. There are no reports confirming allergic reactions caused by PVC.

Class I: Contaminated gloves must be packaged and disposed of as Hazardous Waste – Class I.
